692mm wheelbase. 555g. 15-inch props. This is the biggest frame in the MARK4 lineup, and it’s still lighter than the Ares 13-inch. That’s not a typo — the H-type layout at this scale is so carbon-efficient that you get 15-inch prop clearance and a payload bay bigger than some X-frames two prop sizes smaller. If you’ve been assuming that large frames have to be heavy, this one changes the math.

The V3 Pro 15 inch shares the same arm thickness and side plate spec as the V3 Pro 13 inch — 8mm arms, 3.0mm side plates, 3.0mm bottom and middle plates. The difference is the span. Going from 565mm to 692mm wheelbase means 15-inch props spin with comfortable clearance, and the center stack has room for serious electronics: flight controller, companion computer, dual GPS modules, long-range radio, and a battery that actually lasts. The H-type vertical stack keeps everything in a straight line — FC on the bottom, companion board in the middle, radio on top. No lateral spreading, no cable spaghetti, no wasted space.

Why would you pick this over the Ares 15-inch? Because not every 15-inch build needs to be a tank. The Ares 15-inch runs 10mm arms and a 4mm bottom plate in a Wide X layout — great for fixed industrial payloads where you bolt it together and never touch it again. But if you need to swap components between flights, adjust your stack for different missions, or just fit standard FPV parts without adapters, the H-type layout is simply more practical. The MARK4 V3 Pro 15 inch carbon fiber frame is built for operators who change configurations, not operators who set it and forget it.

At 555g, you’ve still got plenty of payload budget. A 6S 8000mAh Li-ion pack weighs about 450g. A typical long-range electronics suite adds another 150g. That puts you around 1.15kg AUW without payload — and 15-inch props on 4006 or 4010 motors will pull that with authority. You’re not building a racer. You’re building something that stays in the air for 40 minutes, carries real equipment, and comes back reliably.

  • Aluminum standoffs
  • Stainless steel screws and hardware
  • Arm soft mounts (vibration damping)
  • Battery pad
  • Battery strap

Applications

  • Ultra-long-range FPV — 15-inch props on a 555g frame means 35–45 minute cruise times with 6S Li-ion. This is the frame for crossing distances that smaller builds can’t reach
  • Large equipment transport — 692mm wheelbase gives you payload bay space for delivery modules, relay stations, or inspection gear that won’t fit on 13-inch frames
  • Long-distance pipeline and corridor inspection — H-type stack fits companion computers for autonomous waypoint missions. 15-inch prop efficiency means fewer battery swaps per kilometer of coverage
  • Operators who prefer H-type over X-type — Vertical component stacking, front-to-back cable routing, easy arm swaps in the field. If you’ve been flying H-type and want to go bigger without switching layouts, this is it

Why Choose YTCarbon

  • Factory direct, no trading company. We press 3K T300 carbon fiber sheet from raw fiber, CNC cut every plate and arm, inspect every part — all in one facility. When you buy this MARK4 V3 Pro 15 inch carbon fiber frame, it comes from the people who made it
  • Consistent across reorders. Same CNC program, same carbon sheet spec, same deburr and chamfer process on every batch. Your 100th frame fits exactly like your 1st
  • No MOQ. One frame to test your build, a hundred for your fleet, a thousand for distribution. Same quality standard regardless of quantity
  • ISO 9001 certified. Independently audited quality system with Material Test Reports available for your compliance paperwork
  • Sample before volume. Get a frame at cost, build it, fly it, stress it. Then order with confidence based on your own test results

Certifications

Every frame we ship is backed by documented quality credentials. We hold ISO 9001 certification for our quality management system, and our carbon fiber materials carry RoHS and CE compliance — which matters if you’re reselling into the EU or supplying customers who need traceable documentation. How We Manufacture Your Frame

A lot of frame sellers can’t tell you how their product gets made because they don’t make it — they buy it from a supplier who buys it from another supplier. We’re different. The process below shows what actually happens inside our facility: raw 3K T300 carbon fiber comes in, we lay it up and press it into sheet, then our CNC machines cut every plate and arm to spec. After machining, each part gets a visual and dimensional inspection before it goes into the package.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Why choose the V3 Pro 15-inch H-type over the Ares 15-inch X-type?
Different design philosophy. The Ares 15-inch is 825g with 10mm arms and a 4mm bottom plate — built for fixed industrial payloads that get bolted on and left alone. The V3 Pro is 555g with 8mm arms in an H-type layout that’s designed for operators who swap configurations, change payloads between flights, and service their own builds. The H-type vertical stack is also easier to route and maintain than the X-type’s spread-out layout. If you want maximum rigidity and never plan to change your setup, Ares. If you want flexibility and lower AUW, V3 Pro.
+ Are 8mm arms enough for 15-inch props?
Yes, because the H-type layout supports the arms differently than an X-type. In an H-frame, the arms run straight through the center stack, which gives them built-in support at the junction points. In an X-frame, arms extend outward from separate mounting points and need extra thickness to resist bending at those junctions. That’s why the Ares uses 10mm — it needs the extra material for the X-type geometry. The V3 Pro’s 8mm arms on an H-type frame deliver comparable rigidity with less weight.
+ What’s the practical flight time with this frame?
With a 6S 8000mAh Li-ion pack, 4006 motors, and 15-inch props, expect 35–45 minutes of cruising depending on payload. Add a camera or sensor and you’re still looking at 25–35 minutes. The 555g frame weight leaves a lot of room for battery before you hit the efficiency ceiling. Some of our customers run dual 6S packs and report 50+ minutes with light payloads.
+ How does this compare to the V3 Pro 13-inch?
Same arm thickness (8mm), same side plates (3.0mm), same bottom plate (3.0mm). The difference is wheelbase: 692mm vs 565mm. That extra 127mm gives you 15-inch prop clearance instead of 13-inch, plus a larger payload bay. The weight increase from 550g to 555g is minimal — only 5g more for a full prop size upgrade. Choose the 13-inch if your payload fits in the smaller bay. Choose the 15-inch if you need the extra prop efficiency and bay space.
+ Can I mount 8S batteries on this frame?
Yes. The 3mm side plates and 8mm arms handle the weight without issue. For 8S builds, we recommend 2808 or 2810 class motors with 15-inch props. The H-type center stack has enough vertical space between plates for larger packs. Make sure your ESCs are rated for 8S — the frame can take it even if your electronics can’t.
