A colored carbon fiber sheet does something black carbon can’t — it gets noticed from across the room. Whether it’s a red-tinted resin that makes the twill pattern glow under light, or a Kevlar hybrid weave with gold-yellow aramid fiber woven right into the carbon, color transforms carbon fiber from a performance material into a brand statement. There are two ways to add color. The first is tinted epoxy resin — the carbon fiber weave remains black, but the resin between the fibers takes on the color, creating a subtle tint that shifts with the angle. The second is Kevlar hybrid weave — actual aramid fiber in yellow, red, or blue woven together with carbon tow in the same fabric. Hybrid weave is bolder: the color runs through the entire thickness of the sheet, not just the surface. It won’t fade, scratch off, or wear through because the colored fiber is structural, not decorative.
