Product Details

A colored carbon fiber sheet does something black carbon can’t — it gets noticed from across the room. Whether it’s a red-tinted resin that makes the twill pattern glow under light, or a Kevlar hybrid weave with gold-yellow aramid fiber woven right into the carbon, color transforms carbon fiber from a performance material into a brand statement. Sports teams, consumer brands, and automotive tuners use colored CF when they need the strength of carbon and the visibility of color.

There are two ways to add color. The first is tinted epoxy resin — the carbon fiber weave remains black, but the resin between the fibers takes on the color, creating a subtle tint that shifts with the angle. The second is Kevlar hybrid weave — actual aramid fiber in yellow, red, or blue woven together with carbon tow in the same fabric. Hybrid weave is bolder: the color runs through the entire thickness of the sheet, not just the surface. It won’t fade, scratch off, or wear through because the colored fiber is structural, not decorative.

We offer red, blue, green, yellow, and custom-matched colors in both tinted resin and Kevlar hybrid. Thickness from 0.5mm to 50mm+, standard sizes up to 1000×1000mm, custom cuts to 3m×8m. Matte or glossy finish available.

Applications

  • Automotive and motorsport — Interior trim, spoiler lips, and mirror covers in team or brand colors. Red tinted carbon for Ferrari builds, blue for aftermarket tuners — the color sells the part
  • Sports equipment — Hockey sticks, bicycle frames, and helmet shells where team colors matter. Kevlar hybrid weave adds impact resistance plus visible color identity
  • Consumer electronics — Phone case backs, laptop lids, and headphone shells. Tinted resin CF gives a premium look that stands out on a retail shelf — the color catches the eye, the weave closes the sale
  • Brand and corporate identity — Custom Pantone-matched tinted resin for corporate gifts, promotional items, and co-branded products. Your color, our carbon fiber — logo engraving available on CNC-cut parts

Why Choose YTCarbon

  • One plant, full control. We press our own colored carbon fiber sheet from raw tow, mix our own tinted resin, and CNC machine every part in-house. No trading companies in the chain. We exhibited at the 2025 World UAV Expo — see what a real carbon fiber factory puts on the table
  • Custom Pantone color matching. Not just red, blue, green — we match your brand color. Send us a Pantone code or a physical sample and we’ll formulate the resin tint to match. Minimum order applies for custom colors
  • Kevlar hybrid weave — color that won’t fade. The aramid fiber runs through the full thickness. It can’t wear off, scratch off, or fade under UV because the color is the fiber itself, not a surface coating
  • ISO 9001 certified. Quality management system audited independently. Consistent color between batches — your second order matches your first

Certifications

Every sheet we ship carries documented quality credentials. Our facility holds ISO 9001 certification for quality management, and our carbon fiber materials are RoHS and CE compliant — required if you’re selling into the EU or supplying customers who need traceable material documentation. How to Order

Working with a factory-direct supplier means you skip the trading company markup and talk straight to the people making your sheet. Here’s how the process works: send us your requirements — thickness, size, quantity, color (standard or Pantone match), and tinted resin vs Kevlar hybrid preference. We respond with a quote within 24 hours. For custom colors, we recommend ordering sample pieces first so you can verify the color match before committing to production. Once you confirm, we produce, inspect, and ship. Payment via T/T, PayPal, or letter of credit.

Frequently Asked Questions

+ What’s the difference between tinted resin and Kevlar hybrid colored sheets?
Tinted resin: the carbon fiber stays black, the epoxy resin between fibers takes on the color. Subtle effect — the color shifts with viewing angle and light. Kevlar hybrid: aramid fiber in the chosen color is woven directly into the fabric alongside carbon tow. Bolder effect — the color runs through the full thickness and can’t wear off. Tinted resin is for subtle brand identity; Kevlar hybrid is for maximum visual impact.
+ Can you match a specific Pantone color?
Yes. Send us a Pantone code or a physical color sample and we’ll formulate the tinted epoxy to match. Custom color matching has a minimum order requirement and a 2-3 day formulation lead time before production starts. We ship a small color sample for your approval before running the full order. This ensures your red carbon fiber sheet matches your brand red — not just “close enough.”
+ Does the Kevlar hybrid weave affect strength compared to pure carbon?
Yes — slightly. Kevlar aramid fiber has lower compressive strength than carbon fiber, so a hybrid panel trades a bit of compressive performance for impact resistance and color. Tensile strength remains high because both fibers carry tensile loads well. For most colored CF applications — consumer products, sports gear, automotive trim — the strength difference is irrelevant. For pure structural applications where every MPa counts, stick with all-carbon and use tinted resin for color instead.
+ Does the tinted resin color fade over time?
Under normal indoor conditions, no — the pigment is locked inside the cured epoxy matrix. Under prolonged UV exposure (outdoor use, direct sunlight), some fading can occur over years, just like any colored resin. For outdoor applications, we add a UV-stabilized top coat as an option. Kevlar hybrid sheets don’t have this issue — the aramid fiber is inherently UV-stable and the color runs through the full thickness.
+ What colors are available without custom matching?
Standard colors with no minimum order: red, blue, green, and yellow — in both tinted resin and Kevlar hybrid options. Black (standard carbon) is always available. For any other color, we offer custom Pantone matching with a minimum order. Standard colors ship within 5 working days; custom colors add 3-5 days for formulation and sample approval.
