Product Details
A carbon fiber pickleball paddle face is stiffer and lighter than fiberglass — more power on drives, better touch on dinks. The carbon weave also provides natural surface texture for spin without aftermarket grit that wears off after a few sessions.
Thermoformed for USAPA Certification
Our paddles use T700 carbon fiber thermoformed over a 16mm polymer honeycomb core. Hot-pressed construction delivers ±0.1mm thickness tolerance across the entire face, eliminating the variance that causes 23% of USAPA certification rejections. Surface roughness lands at Rz 18–26μm — well within the Rz ≤40μm limit, with enough texture for competitive spin.
Built for Brands, Not Players
We engineer the layup, core density, and edge guard to pass USAPA standards out of the mold, then provide eight sample paddles for your certification submission. Custom face graphics, grip color, and edge guard style are all part of the OEM package — from 200-piece launch to 50,000-unit scale.

Applications
- Tournament Paddles — USAPA-certified for sanctioned play. T700 face and honeycomb core pass deflection, roughness, and PBCoR tests consistently.
- Recreation & Club Paddles — Same carbon face construction at lower cost with standard polymer core. Ideal for clubs and resorts buying in bulk.
- Junior & Training Paddles — Shorter handle, lighter weight (under 7.5 oz) for younger players. Custom graphics available.
- Pro-Grade Custom Lines — Full OEM: you spec shape, weight, balance, grip. We engineer the layup, prototype, and run production.
- Paddle + Accessory Sets — Bundle with matching covers, overgrips, and edge tape. One supplier, one brand experience.
Why Choose YTCarbon
- Proven at the 2025 World UAV Expo — If we can thermoform drone frames that survive crashes, we can thermoform a pickleball paddle that passes USAPA on the first submission.
- Thermoformed for Certification Consistency — ±0.1mm thickness tolerance across the entire face. No hot spots, no variance between paddle #1 and #10,000. That consistency gets you through USAPA testing first try.
- Surface Roughness Engineered, Not Sprayed On — The carbon weave provides Rz 18–26μm naturally. No grit coating that peels off or pushes you over the limit.
- Eight Samples for Your USAPA Submission — Same layup, same batch, ready for the testing lab. We include pre-test data so you know they will pass before you pay the $1,500 fee.
- Full OEM from Shape to Ship — Pick shape, weight, grip, graphics. We build the die, prototype, and run production. Your brand, our engineering, zero middlemen.
Certifications
YTCarbon operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality management. Every paddle batch is traceable from T700 prepreg intake through thermoforming and final inspection. Surface roughness profilometer data and deflection test certificates available on request.
How We Manufacture Your Carbon Fiber Pickleball Paddle
T700 prepreg is cut to the face profile and laid over a shaped polymer honeycomb core. The face layers, core, and edge guard are stacked in a CNC-machined aluminum matched-metal die and thermoformed under controlled heat and pressure. After cooling, the paddle is CNC-trimmed, handle-wrapped, and surface roughness is measured at five zones across the face. Each paddle is weighed, inspected, and flex-tested before packing.
