Carbon Fiber Sunglasses

Carbon fiber sunglasses weigh around 15 grams — less than a handful of paperclips. The frame will not corrode, will not trigger metal allergies, and will not slip off when you sweat. UV400 lenses protect your eyes; the CF frame protects your comfort. Rx-friendly and custom logo ready.

Product Details

Most sunglasses fight you. Metal frames corrode from sweat and slide down. Plastic frames warp in a hot car. Carbon fiber sunglasses solve all three — 15 grams, hypoallergenic, and holds shape on a dashboard in August or through a marathon.

Under 15g & 100% Hypoallergenic

The frame is 3K twill or forged carbon composite — lighter than titanium, stiffer than acetate, zero nickel. No rust, no skin irritation. Integrated anti-slip rubber tips grip when you sweat, release when you take them off.

UV400 Lenses & OEM Customization

UV400 polycarbonate or TAC lenses block 100% UVA/UVB. Polarized and Rx prescription options available. Custom lens tints, mirror coatings, and temple logo engraving for OEM and corporate orders.

How We Manufacture Your Carbon Fiber Sunglasses

Each sunglass frame starts as carbon fiber prepreg cut to the front-frame and temple profiles. The layers are laid into a CNC aluminum mold and compression-molded under controlled heat and pressure — the weave alignment is critical for the 3K twill version, while forged carbon packs randomly for that one-of-a-kind marble. After demolding, CNC profiling refines the lens groove, hinge pocket, and temple taper to optical-grade tolerances. Stainless steel spring hinges are press-fit into the temple pockets. The frame then moves through polishing (glossy or matte), lens cutting and fitting, and a final alignment check. Logo engraving is done on a laser station before the frame is cleaned, inspected, and packed in a microfiber pouch with a hard case.

FAQ

+ Are carbon fiber sunglasses really lighter than titanium frames?
Yes.Our CF frames are ~15 g; titanium typically sits at 18–22 g. On your face during a four-hour session, you feel the difference. CF also has higher stiffness-to-weight, so the frame holds shape better over time.
+ Can people with metal allergies wear carbon fiber sunglasses safely?
Yes.Absolutely. he only metal is the spring hinge, enclosed inside the temple. Frame, bridge, and temple body are pure CF composite — no nickel, no coating that wears off.
+ Do carbon fiber sunglasses stay on during sports and running?
Yes.Integrated rubber tips grip when wet from sweat, release cleanly when removing. Spring hinge adds gentle clamping force. Ultra-light weight minimizes downward pull through sprints and trails.
+ Can I get prescription lenses fitted in a carbon fiber sunglass frame?
Yes. Frame geometry accepts standard optical inserts — any optician can fit Rx lenses. We can also supply pre-fitted Rx lenses. Tint, gradient, and polarized Rx options available.
+ What lens options are available for carbon fiber sunglasses OEM orders?
UV400 polycarbonate and TAC lenses in clear tint, gradient, mirror (silver/blue/gold), and polarized. Custom tints at 200+ pcs. All meet EN ISO 12312-1. CR-39 glass lenses available for premium SKUs.
