Roll-Wrapped vs. Pultruded Construction<\/h3>\n

Furthermore, our micro carbon fiber tubes are available in both roll-wrapped<\/strong> and pultruded<\/strong> construction. On one hand, roll-wrapped micro tubes offer superior concentricity and customizable layup orientation, making them ideal for structural applications that demand precise load handling. On the other hand, pultruded micro tubes provide excellent axial strength at a lower cost \u2014 perfect for pushrods, linkages, and straight structural members. In addition, both types are available in T300 and T700 carbon fiber grades, with glossy or matte finishes.<\/p>\n

Manufacturing at Micro Scale<\/h3>\n

As a result of the small dimensions, manufacturing tubes at this scale presents unique challenges. For instance, the mandrels used are extremely thin, and maintaining uniform resin distribution across such small diameters requires precise temperature and tension control throughout the curing process.
